We, the Franciscan Sisters of the Atonement are a missionary congregation of women religious called by God through the Church, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and inspired by the vision of our founders, Mother Lurana Mary White and Father Paul James Wattson.
In loving fidelity to this call, our covenant, we recognize and support our diversity and giftedness. We accomplish this through a shared life of at-one-ment that nurtures and encourages each Sister to live the fullest expression of Christian love. We are sent to the People of God as witnesses of the Kingdom. In Franciscan simplicity and joy we serve the poor as we strive to empower those who are neglected or oppressed. We remain open to other ministries which respond to the needs of our times.
You can make a difference by supporting us in our mission and ministries throughout the world. Support us through your prayers and/or with your donations -- so that we may proclaim the Gospel, seeking to fulfill the prayer of Jesus, "that all may be one".
We are deeply grateful that you choose to be in partnership with us for the sake of the mission! May you be abundantly blessed as we pray in thanksgiving for the blessing you are as we partner together.
Your generous donation will fund our mission and will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions.

Prayer for Christian Unity
Ant: That they all may be one, as you Father are in me, and I in you that they also may be one in us that the world may believe that you sent me. (John 17:21)
V. I say to you that you are Peter.
R. And on this rock I will build my Church (Mt. 16:18)
Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your apostles: "I leave you peace, my peace I give you" -- look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church and grant us the peace and unity of your kingdom where you live forever and ever. Amen.
Daily Prayer of the Children of the Atonement
O God, you have prepared for those who love you such good things that they surpass our understanding. Pour into the hearts of the Children of the Atonement, such a love for you, that we, loving you, in and above all things, may obtain your promises which exceed all that we can desire through Jesus Christ our Lord.
U.N.B.L. Prayer (The Union that Nothing Be Lost)
Lord Jesus Christ, you commanded your apostles to gather up the fragments that nothing be lost. Give us grace to waste nothing, but to use all our time, talent, substance and opportunity for your glory, the God of our neighbor, and the salvation of all, and to do all for love of you, Lord Jesus Christ, who live and reign with the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
The Consecrated Life
Ant: "The ancient ruins shall be rebuilt for your sake, and foundations from ages past you shall raise up. 'Repairer of the breach" they shall call you, 'Restorer of ruined homesteads.'" (Isaiah 58:12)
Creator God , we offer you our praise and thanksgiving for all creation. Through your Spirit, you sent your Son, Jesus the Christ as the light of the world. Bless our Church and the Society of the Atonement with generous women and men who will continue to respond to your call to live the consecrated life for the sake of the Gospel and accept the joys and challenges of bringing Christ to the world today.
(Either prayer may be used at the discretion of the Heb)
Mary, Our Mother, Our Lady of the Atonement, you joyfully accepted the call to bear the Son of God to a waiting world. Hear our prayer for women and men to accept the joys and challenges of bringing Christ to the world today and to live consecrated life in the Society of the Atonement.
"We joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ by whom we have now received the Atonement." (Romans 5:11)
